Space Camp runs a rolling application process with companies encouraged to apply all year round for our 2 Cohorts (April - June and September - November). Companies will send in a business plan which, if of interest, will result in an initial phone call. If this goes successfully, it will be followed by a face-to-face meeting. A shortlist of 20 candidates will be asked to send in a 3-minute video outlining their proposal. Following feedback from the corporates, the final 10 companies (per cohort) will be invited to join Space Camp.
Space Camp is an intensive nine week programme split between on-site and remote workshops, 1-on-1s, keynotes and fireside chats. Companies will be able to interact with the entire Space Camp ecosystem throughout. We will work closely with the teams to provide business and commercial advice, individual coaching and mentoring opportunities, co-working space, access to the alumni network and on-site visits to our major partners.
3. Product Day and Investor Day
Book-ending the programme; we run both a Product Day and an Investor Day. Product Day is an opportunity to highlight your product and explore the potential to run 'Proof of Concept' projects with our corporate partners, whilst Investor Day gives you the chance to pitch to over 100 investors and key leaders in the Space Industry, presenting your progress from the programme.
After Space Camp, the companies will become a part of our SpaceTech network with leading corporates and other global alumni. This also enables companies to continue their exploration of Proof of Concept projects. Mission companies will be able to support future Space Camp startups in the UK and internationally as well as work on projects together.
